AAC Tournament Preview: Men's Basketball

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (February 23, 2023) – After a 15-13 overall record and 14-10 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) conference record, the men’s basketball team find themselves as the #6 seed in the AAC Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Skyhawks will get the sixth game of the tournament when they will face the #3 seed Montreat College (17-10 overall, 15-9 conference) at 9:15 P.M. tonight. All games will be played at the MeadowView Marriott Convention Center & Conference Resort in Kingsport, TN.

(Feb. 21, 2023) - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced all-conference awards ahead of the conference tournament, which will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 22, and end on Saturday, Feb. 25. Multiple players on the men’s basketball team received honors in the following categories: AAC Second Team All-Conference, All-Defensive Team, Defensive Player of the Year, Champions of Character and All-Academic Team.
