WEST POINT, Ga. (Apr. 22, 2024) - The Southern States Athletic Conference announced postseason honors for Men’s Golf where the No. 16 Ranked Men’s Golf Team was featured in honors of All-Conference, All-Academic, All-Freshman Team, and Champions of Character.

WEST POINT, Miss. (Mar. 26, 2024) - The No. 12 ranked Point Men’s Golf team returned to the course for the Blue Mountain Christian University Classic which was hosted by Blue Mountain Christian University in West Point, Mississippi at the Mossy Oak Golf Course where the Skyhawks was crowned as the Champion. The tournament was cut short due to overnight storms.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (Mar. 12, 2024) - The Point University Men’s Golf team returned to the course to compete in the Carey Collegiate which was hosted by William Carey University at the Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where the Skyhawks finished in third place out of 14 teams.

(Sept. 10, 2023) - The No. 14 Ranked Point Men’s Golf team opened their 2023-24 season at the Point University Golf Club where they hosted the Fall Skyhawk Invitational where Dominik Wolf walked away as as the Fall Skyhawk Invitational Champion along with the Point B and Point C Team putting together excellent scores.

WEST POINT, Ga. (Aug. 4, 2023) - The Point University Men’s Golf has officially released its schedule for Fall 2023. The Skyhawks are coming off a season where they competed with some of the best teams in the Nation and were in the top 25 NAIA rankings throughout the fall and spring. The Men’s Golf team will have two seniors, four juniors, eight sophomores, and four freshmen. The Skyhawks will be led by Head Coach Maddux Lytle, who will be assisted by former Point University standout golfer Trevor Poole as the Graduate Assistant. Lytle is not a stranger to getting the best out of his players as he led the Skyhawks to their sixth consecutive NAIA National Championship appearance, where the Men’s Golf finished T11 out of 18 teams in the final round. The competitive edge has created a culture for the program that is instilled through each golfer, no matter the classification.
