CSC Announces Volleyball Academic All-District Teams

WEST POINT, Ga. (Dec. 12, 2023) - The College Sports Communicators announced the CSC Academic All-District for NCAA Levels of Division I, Division II, and Division III, along with announcing the teams for the NAIA Levels. On Tuesday, December 12 the Point University Volleyball team had three players make the list and one player who is eligible for Academic All-American. To be considered on this list, student-athletes are recognized for their performances on the court along with their work in the classroom, be at least a sophomore in their sport and academically, have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA, and compete in 90% of the institution’s games.
Point Volleyball highlights Eight Daktronics NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes

WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 28, 2023) - The NAIA has released the list for the Daktronics NAIA Women’s Volleyball Scholar-Athletes list. The criteria to be featured on this list are achieving a 3.5 Cumulative GPA or higher, appearing on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and having attended the institution for one full year. Point Volleyball had eight players who would make the list as Abigail Hardwick, Ava Clay, Caraline Jackson, Claire Cordell, Janie Marie Messer, Jordan Palmer, Kristina Faison, and Lexi Arter each made the list.
Point Volleyball’s season ends at the SSAC Tournament

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Nov. 12, 2023) - The Point University Volleyball team began postseason play at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery, Alabama on November 9 where the Skyhawks 1-1 on Day 1 of the Tournament and would be eliminated on Day two against the University of Mobile.

Point Volleyball goes 1-1 during weekend SSAC Play

COCHRAN, Ga. (Oct. 21, 2023) - The Point University Volleyball returned to action on the weekend for the Southern States Athletic Conference play at Brewton-Parker College Barons on Friday, October 20th, and followed with a quick drive from Mount Vernon, Georgia to take on Middle Georgia State University Knight on Saturday, October 21st. The Skyhawks took the sweep over the Barons on Friday but would fall to the Knights in five sets.
