Ben Ross earns the AAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week in final week of the Regular Season

WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 20, 2023)- Ben Ross was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week in the final week of the regular season. 

The Graduate Transfer from Stockbridge, Ga. Averaged 21.0 Points and 10.5 Rebounds per game last week for the Skyhawks. Ross exploded for a season-high of 30 Points and 10 Rebounds against Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday, Feb. 14 in a 67-63 win over the Bulldogs. Ross followed with another double-double on Saturday, Feb. 18, against CIU where he scored 12 Points and tallied 11 rebounds. Overall, Ross finished with 21 Rebounds, three assists, and three steals on the week. Ben Ross has proven to be a three-level scorer that can get a bucket, whether it is behind the arc, at the mid-range, or with a smooth layup in the paint.
