FAIRBURN, Ga. (Sept. 30, 2023) - The Point University Men's and Women's Cross-Country team returned to action for the Alexander/Asics Invitational. The Men's team would have five personal bests and dropped a total team time of six minutes from their previous race. Women's Cross Country did not finish with a team score but did improve individually as the Skyhawks continued their 2023-24 campaign. The course featured teams from the NCAA and NAIA levels. Men's Cross Country finished with a team score of 165 and came in 7th place out of 13 other teams.

Cross Country prevails through the rain for the Point Invitational

VALLEY, Ala. (Sept. 16, 2023) - The Point University Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team returned to action for the Point Invitational as the Men’s team secured their first win since 2017. Women’s Cross Country did not finish with a team score but did improve individually as the Skyhawks continued their 2023-24 campaign. The course featured teams from the NCAA and NAIA levels. Men’s Cross Country finished with a team score of 22 and won first place out of four other teams.

WEST POINT, Ga. (July 26, 2023) - The Point University Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Team has released their schedule for the 2023 Fall Season. The Skyhawks are coming off a season where both on the men’s and women’s side saw improvements throughout the campaign for the young program. The Men’s team placed ninth in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships, and the women’s team placed 12th. For the upcoming season, the Skyhawks will see new faces as they have shifted to the Southern States Athletic Conference and will be led by head coach Caleb Albrecht who enters his third season at the helm. Graduate Assistant Chase Buckelew will join Albrecht as he was recently introduced to Skyhawk Nation and will help the team strive for more greatness in the upcoming season.
