Men’s Golf resilience on the course gives them a T11 Finish at Nationals

MESA, Az. (May 19, 2023) - The Point University Men’s Golf competed at the NAIA National Championships and showed why they could hang with the best on the course. The Skyhawks tied for 11th place after four rounds and made up a lot of ground in the later rounds.
Cole Stevens named as a NAIA PING First Team All-American

MESA, Az. (May 19, 2023) - The 2023 NAIA PING First Team All-Americans were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America following the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship. Cole Stevens was one of the names that made the list after his strong season for the Men’s Golf program. This award gives Stevens his third All-American honor in his collegiate career.
Men’s Golf gearing up for their Sixth Consecutive National Championship appearance

WEST POINT, Ga. (May 9, 2023)- On Friday, May 5, The NAIA officially announced the field for the 71st Annual NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships. 29 teams and 11 individuals are scheduled to compete at the event, which will be located at the Las Sendas Golf Club from May 16-19 in Mesa, Arizona. For the Point Skyhawks, this will make their sixth consecutive National Championship appearance, and the tone for Men’s Golf is another opportunity to compete and win.
Men’s Golf rewarded with All-Conference Honors

WEST POINT, Ga. (May 4, 2023)- The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced the 2022-23 Men’s Golf All-Conference Team and awards for the year. The following categories where the Skyhawk Golfers received awards were Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, All-Tournament Team and Champions of Character.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2022) - The Point University men’s golf team traveled to Florida for the Innisbrook Invitational and finished in 11th place. The tournament was cut short to 36 holes due to the threat of Hurricane Ian.
