Men’s Golf capture first place in the Maryville College Invitational

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 20, 2022) - The No. 12/14 Point University Men's golf team continued their 2022 fall season by competing in the Maryville College Invitational and prevailed over 13 other teams to secure the title as tournament champions Tuesday afternoon. 

Tournament Notes 

• The tournament was held at the Wind River Golf Club in Lenoir City, Tennessee. 

• The course was par 72 and 7,270 yards. 

• Point finished day one in the lead and continued their strong efforts on the course for day two. 

• The Skyhawks had two golfers make the All-Tournament team: Jacob Joseph and Jan-Hendrick Neiuwoudt
