WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 1, 2021) – For the first time in her career, senior Carmen Kager of the Point University women's soccer team has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The league made the announcement Monday for the week ending Oct. 31.

Kager scored three goals and the game-winning goal in Point's 5-1 victory over Columbia. The senior's hat trick is Point's first hat trick since 2017 and the first hat trick the Skyhawks have had in AAC play since joining the conference in 2012.

Kager and the Skyhawks will be back in action in the opening round of the AAC tournament on Saturday, Nov. 6. The Skyhawks enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will travel to No. 4 seed Tennessee Wesleyan. More details on the tournament are coming soon.
