Women’s Golf places fifth at the SSAC Championships
GREENVILLE, Ala. (Apr. 17, 2024) - The Point University Women's Golf Team returned to the course for the three-day Southern States Athletic Conference Championships hosted at the RTJ at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama where the Skyhawks finished fifth out of eight teams.

The tournament was held at the RTJ Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama from April 15 through April 17th.

Point finished with a tournament score of 974 and shot rounds of 320, 326, and 328.

Point had two Golfers with top-20 finishes. (Fredrika Zetterblom and Sydney Ormsby)

The Women's Golf team completed the 2023-24 season with stellar improvements in each tournament and will be a team to watch as the Skyhawks will enter their second year in the Southern States Athletic Conference in the 2024-25 season.
