Fredrika Zetterblom earns her second SSAC Women’s Golfer of the Week award

WEST POINT, Ga. (Mar. 19, 2024) - The Southern States Athletic Conference announced weekly awards where Fredrika Zetterblom was named as the SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.  

The Junior from Soderkping, Sweden has started to make a case as one of the best Women's Golfers in the conference and the NAIA as she has added her second weekly honor of the year. Zetterblom was the individual champion at the Golden Tiger Invitational where she finished in first place overall and shot rounds of 81 and 68. Earlier in the season, Zetterblom broke a school record for the lowest score relative to par when she shot –4 (68) at the Freed Hardeman Invite. Following her performance, she added her first weekly honor at the Coqui Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico where she carded +17 230 with rounds of 78, 73, and 79. With her recent performance at the Golden Tiger Invitational, this is her second top-three finish at a tournament during the 2023-24 season. Fredrika Zetterblom is looking to continue her consistent play on the course which could help her take more notice nationally along with helping her team earn a conference title.
