Women’s Golf makes big strides at the Skyhawk Fall Invitational

LANETT, Ala. (Sept. 10, 2023) - The Point University Women's Golf team opened their 2023 season on their home course at the Point University Golf Club, placing fifth out of nine teams. 

Tournament Notes 

  • This is the fifth year of the Skyhawk Fall Invitational hosted at the Point University Golf Club. 

  • The course was par 71 and 5,703 yards. 

  • Point Finished with a tournament score of 670. 

  • Freshman Kayla Silvers made her first collegiate tournament count as she shot two eagles in one round, which made history for the first women's golfer in Point history.
