Women’s golf finishes fifth in Golden Tigers Spring Invite

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (March 15, 2022) – The Point University women's golf team competed in the 2022 Golden Tigers Spring Collegiate at the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga., Monday and Tuesday, and finished in fifth place.

Tournament notes

• Point finished in fifth out of six teams with a tournament score of 692 (+116).
• Cumberland won the tournament, shooting a 629.
• Tennessee Wesleyan finished in second, Truett McConnell (B) finished third, Reinhardt finished fourth, and Brenau finished sixth.

Individual finishes

• Fredricka Zetterblom finished tied in seventh with rounds of 77 and 83 (+16).
• Ana Aldana finished in 24th with rounds of 85 and 89 (+30).
• Sofia Fousek finished tied in 31st with rounds of 93 and 85 (+34).
• Peyton Woody finished tied in 33rd with rounds of 91 and 89 (+36).
• Abigail Evans finished in 42nd (+57).
• Alexis Guzman finished in 44th (+72).
