Lyner wins AAC Player of the Week

WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 21, 2022) - Junior outfielder Haley Lyner was honored as the Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the week, the AAC announced on Monday for the week ending Feb. 20.

  • Batted .714 in helping Point to a 3-1 record on the week.
  • Drove in 7 runs and scored 9 times.
  • Went perfect at the plate in 3 games - all wins.
  • Went 10-for-14 at the plate with 2 doubles.
  • This is her first weekly award this season.
