Bio

The Point University Soccer team will have a familiar face returning to the sidelines for the 2023 Season. Brantley Estes, previously the Graduate Assistant for Men’s Soccer, has been promoted to Assistant Coach. This move was made following the departure of former Assistant Coach Roberto Yepez, who took a job at Viterbo University as the Head Coach.

Estes will look to bring his energy and experience alongside Head Coach Mark Wozniak as the Skyhawks prepare for Fall 2023, where Point will see a lot of new opponents as they switch to the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Men’s Soccer team looks to wipe away last season’s 3-12-2 season as the Skyhawks have focused on their spring training and bringing in guys that genuinely fit into the program. Brantley has mentioned that he is excited about taking on the Assistant Coach role and truly has Coach Wozniak's support. Estes is already well-respected by the players on the roster and will be able to transition smoothly into his new role.  “After working with Mark in the fall semester, I am super excited to be an official member of his coaching staff! Mark and this team's work rate and positive energy are addictive! We have a great group of players that I have grown close with so far this year. I am incredibly excited to see what the future holds for me as a Skyhawk and how we progress as a team and a coaching staff moving forward!

He received his Bachelor's degree in sports management and is currently earning his Master's degree in business.
