Fabian Saborio’s record-breaking performance earns him AAC Offensive Player of the Week

WEST POINT, Ga. (Oct. 24, 2022) - Fabian Saborio of the Point University men’s soccer team has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 23.  

The senior from Escazu, Costa Rica, made his final game in the River Bowl stadium a historic day, with Saborio breaking the school record for most scored goals in a single game with six in a 9-0 win against Kentucky Christian. Overall, he fired 11 shots total, with eight going on goal. 

This is his first weekly honor of the season 

The Skyhawks will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 25, for a road AAC matchup versus Columbia College. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
