ATHENS, Tenn. (Sept. 24, 2021) – Jeronimo Leguizamon connected for his fourth goal of the season in the waning minutes of Friday afternoon's contest, but the Point University men's soccer team was unable to complete the comeback, as the Skyhawks fell to Tennessee Wesleyan 2-1 on the road.

The Bulldogs, who received votes in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, scored the game's opening goal in the 30th minute, taking a 1-0 lead entering the break. In the 72nd minute, TWU extended their lead with another goal to go ahead 2-0.

With six minutes remaining, Pablo Sanz Diez connected with Leguizamon inside the penalty box, who cut the Bulldogs lead in half with a goal. The Skyhawks continued their pressure on offense by taking three shots in the final minutes, but an equalizing shot was unable to be made.
