Men’s Golf powers through for a Third-Place finish at the Carey Collegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (Mar. 12, 2024) - The Point University Men's Golf team returned to the course to compete in the Carey Collegiate which was hosted by William Carey University at the Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where the Skyhawks finished in third place out of 14 teams.  

Tournament Notes 

  • The Tournament was held at the Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. 

  • Point finished with a tournament score of 856 and shots rounds of 286, 289, and 281. 

  • The Course was Par 71 and 6,932 yards. 

  • Point had three players with Top-20 finishes. (Arrington Mooney, Jacob Joseph, and Hayden Jackson)
