Stevens named AAC golfer of the week for second time this season
WEST POINT, Ga. (April 4, 2022) – Cole Stevens of the No. 8 Point University men's golf team has been recognized as the Appalachian Athletic Conference golfer of the week for the second time this season. The AAC made the announcement Monday for the week ending April 3.
This is Stevens' fifth AAC golfer of the week recognition of his career.
Stevens finished tied for second in the Monument Golf Oldfield Classic this past week and helped the team to a fourth-place finish in Okatie, S.C., at the Oldfield Golf Club.
Stevens earned medalist honors with a 3-round score of 218. He finished the tournament 2-over par.
According to Golfstat, Stevens is the No. 5 golfer in the NAIA.
The men's golf team is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at the Roadrunner Classic in Rocky Face, Ga.
