Jordan Palmer earns Second Team All-Conference in Women’s Flag Football

WEST POINT, Ga. (Apr. 24, 2024) - The Sun Conference recently announced All-Conference honors where Jordan Palmer earned a spot as a Second Team All-Conference Player for Special Teams. This award is the first all-conference award in Program history for the Skyhawks but will certainly not be the last.

The Graduate from Statesboro, Georgia transitioned to Women's Flag Football and became a player worth depending on during the season. Palmer was interested in the addition of Women's Flag Football and wanted to be a part of the historic Inaugural season under Head Coach Theseus Jackson. Jordan Palmer went from catching a few passes on the field during practices to becoming a player who would take every snap and make key plays. Palmer finished the season with a stacked stat line of 32 receptions, 170 receiving yards, one touchdown, 207 yards punting, and 26 flag pulls. Palmer created great field positioning for the defense to work with as she added her longest punt of 28 yards. Jordan Palmer also helped the Skyhawks earn their first win on their home field as she caught the game-winning one-point conversion in the defeat against Florida Memorial. Palmer is already a familiar name within Point University as she is an All-Conference Player for Point University Volleyball. She now adds to her resume as a player who earned All-Conference in two sports in one year.
