Cheer finishes first in dual with Life University

MARIETTA, Ga. (Feb. 8, 2022) — The Point University competitive cheer team traveled to Life University for a dual against the Running Eagles Tuesday morning, and won the competition with an overall score of 89.80.

Life came in second with an overall score of 88.75. 

After four competitions, the Skyhawks are No. 5 in the nation, with an average score of 86.72.

Up next, Point competes in a virtual competition hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University  on Friday, Feb. 11. The Skyhawks will compete at Happy Valley Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m.
