Jaunelle White to serve the NAIA-ADA Board as representative for the SSAC

WEST POINT, Ga. (Oct. 24, 2023) - Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jaunelle White was recently added to the NAIA-ADA board as a representative for the Southern States Athletic Conference. White is a well-respected leader at Point University as she has taken on her third academic year leading the Athletic Department.

Jaunelle White being added to the NAIA-ADA shows how respected she is by her fellow peers. The purpose of the NAIA Athletics Director Association is to “engage our Athletics Directors with meaningful collaboration, forums, and national recognition, Empower our Athletics Directors in their professional development and leadership roles in the NAIA, Promote NAIA Athletics Directors’ collective voice on issues affecting membership and college athletics on a national scale”. The NAIA-ADA Leadership consists of Twenty-One board of directors, which has a representative from each NAIA Conference.

White has also taken the co-chair role of the SSAC SFE Committee while also being a member of the NAIA Champions of Character Committee. White, who already has 20+ years in Athletics, continues to push the needle for being a leader who can set an example for others around her. “It’s an honor to be selected by my fellow athletic directors to represent the Southern States Athletic Conference on the NAIA-ADA", White mentioned. “I look forward to serving alongside my colleagues to engage, empower, and promote within the NAIA Structure.” Commissioner Mike Hall was ecstatic about Jaunelle White being named to the board as well and has a lot of respect for her leadership. “Jaunelle is highly respected among her AD peers in the SSAC. She will be an excellent representative of our conference and be able to provide much-needed depth for the ADA board from her years of athletic experience. Hall also mentioned, “We are so glad she could fill this immediate on this special NAIA board.” With Jaunelle White being involved, she will continue to be one of the top Women Leaders in Athletics.
