CSC Announces Soccer Academic All-District Teams

WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 21, 2023) - The College Sports Communicators announced the CSC Academic All-District for NCAA Levels of Division I, Division II, and Division III, along with announcing the teams for the NAIA levels. On Tuesday, November 21st the Point University Men’s and Women’s soccer teams had seven total players between both teams make the list. To be considered for this list, student-athletes are recognized for their performances on the field in the classroom, be at least a sophomore in the classroom and academically, have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA, and competed in 90% of the institution’s games. 

From Women’s Soccer, Hannah Delp, Chiara Zaccagnino, Marina Lima Queiroz, and Brooke Wiseley each earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District List as their nominations fit the criteria for this award. Point Women’s Soccer has been to have players who can impact on the field but surely make an impact in the classroom as well. The Skyhawks finished with 11 players making the Barnes and Noble College All-Academic Team which was announced by the Southern States Athletic Conference. For their program, this is another academic award that Women’s Soccer can add to the resume. 

From Men’s Soccer, Diogo Palhoto, Hwijun Cho, and Tommy Eskew each earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District List as their nominations fit the criteria for this award. Point Men’s Soccer had 11 members make the Barnes and Noble College All-Academic Team and the three members from that team also can add being on the CSC Academic All-District team.
