Taylor Jennings selected to participate in the Women’s Leaders IAA Program

WEST POINT, Ga. (May 3, 2023)- Taylor Jennings, the Assistant Athletic Director, and Senior Woman Leader, has been selected to participate in the Women’s Leaders IAA Program. The Institute for Advancement, formerly known as the Institute for Administrative Advancement, is the leadership development for women leaders in sports. This program elevates their performance while advancing them within the industry. The Women’s Leaders IAA Program will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, beginning on Sunday, June 25, and ending on Tuesday, June 27th. 

The goals of the IAA are to improve performance and industry skills specific to working in sports with the following categories: fundraising, revenue generation, sports supervision, crisis management, and organizational operations. For 2022, 70 recipients were selected to participate in this program. 

Taylor Jennings mentioned, “Women Leaders is the premier leadership organization that develops, advances, and connects women working in college sports and beyond. I am honored to be selected to attend the 2023 Insitute for Advancement in Kansas City, Mo, after completing the Leadership Symposium in 2022.

I look forward to embracing the opportunity for growth and connecting with other women who will continue supporting me for years.” 

Her peers have praised Jennings’ leadership throughout the Skyhawk Community. The continuous growth through great programs like the Women’s Leaders IAA Program will continue to help bolster the department of Point Athletics and the personal development of additional gems to share with others around her.
