Bullock named Sports Information Director

WEST POINT, Ga. (Sept. 13, 2022) – Point University athletic director Jaunelle White has announced the appointment of Desean Bullock as the athletic department's Sports Information Director.

"We are excited to welcome Desean to our Point Skyhawks family," White shared. "Desean comes highly recommended to a department that has grown so much over the last two years under the direction of former director Kassi Butcher. Desean's passion and work ethic will contribute greatly to the upward trajectory of the department, and I look forward to watching him excel as director."

Bullock will be responsible for the promotion and coverage of Point's 19 athletic programs and managing the website, social media, gameday operations, live video, and statistics.

Bullock comes to Point after most recently serving as the Sports Coordinator for the ASF Foundation. His primary responsibility was to help set up tournaments for the Alabama State Games. Before working with the ASF Foundation, Bullock worked with the Faulkner University Athletic Department in the sports information department. His primary responsibilities at Faulkner included working for the Faulkner Sports Network, producing sporting events, giving interviews, providing commentary during games, and other duties regarding livestream production.

Bullock graduated from Faulkner in 2021 with his Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating on Cognates of English and Sports Management. He is a native of Hernando, Mississippi, and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College from 2017 to 2019. Bullock was a member of the football team at NEMCC.
