Within the first minute of the second half, the action picked up as TMU scored the first goal of the game. The Skyhawks looked to stay within reach by staying with the game plan by taking more shots, but the Bears would not allow the tie. The Skyhawks continued to try to bring the game within reach but were unable to convert as the final minutes clocked.
