Play-by-play (25-13, 25-17, 25-21)

Sameily Marquez and Sarah Baucham fired back with a block to get the Skyhawks back on the board. Keylany Matos and Marquez followed with two straight kills to now bring the score 6-4. Three attack errors from Point allowed the Rams to add a trio of points to their lead. Jadakate Judkins responded with a kill for Point, hoping to narrow the deficit in their favor until CIU took the next two points to push their lead back to six. Judkins struck another for Point and was followed by Whitney Ward with one of her own. Columbia International elevated its offensive attack by taking the next three points with kills on their end which forced the Skyhawks into a timeout. Now trailing 17-8, Baucham tallied the next two kills for the Skyhawks. CIU continued to attack the net on offense by taking going on a 4-2 run to end the first set, with each score coming off kills.

The Skyhawks came into the second with a different mindset to bring the intensity as Kelsey Turner and Mya Sterling led the way in the beginning to take a 5-4 lead. Jadaeya Morrell responded with an attack to bring the game back to a tie, but that would not last long as Abigail Hardwick put the Point back in the lead with a kill. After another score from CIU, Sterling and Ward pushed their lead to two, which then followed to three after two errors from the Rams. CIU gathered their focus to keep attacking after four straight kills from Kira Rymer to now regain the lead by one. Paige Lowe contributed with an offensive attack as well to push the set into another tie, but CIU countered with two more kills to bring their lead to two. After the timeout from Point, Sterling and Turner returned with two more kills as they looked to bring a spark for the Skyhawks. CIU did not budge and added three points to their deficit to now lead by five. Mackenzie Littrell entered with a flash by adding a kill to cut the Rams' lead to four. As the set neared its end, CIU tallied four more points, only allowing one point from the Skyhawks to take the second set.

Kelsey Turner continued to add a spark for the Skyhawks by starting the third set with a kill to put the Skyhawks on the board first. The Rams followed that by taking the lead after an attack error along with a kill by Mardi Scrutchings. Baucham retaliated with one of her to now have the Skyhawks trailing by one. CIU went on a 7-2 run to push their lead to six with a score of 10-4. Two attack errors from Columbia International cut their lead back to four, but they were able to take the next three scores. With Point trailing by eight, Hardwick cut the Rams' lead down by adding another kill to her night. Littrell and Turner continued their contributions for the Skyhawks as they now trailed 18-11. With CIU adding another score, Point zipped the next three points in their favor to bring the score to 19-14. Hardwick returned the favor by adding two more points for the Skyhawks, and Kelsey Turner followed with one of her own as well. CIU pushed their lead back to five after Morell fired with an attack for the Rams but a kill from Turner, along with an attack error from Columbia International, brought the score to 24-21.
