Lady Skyhawks Take Down Warner 5-2

In an impressive display of offensive skill, the Point University Skyhawks triumphed over the Warner Royals with a 5-2 victory in their regular-season soccer meeting on September 1, 2025, at the Royals Soccer Field. The match signaled a strong performance from the Skyhawks, who are now 3-1-1 for the season.

From the beginning, the Skyhawks set a rapid pace, with Brooke Wiseley opening the scoring and subsequently netting the game-winning goal. Naomi Tilley, Lorelei Lewis (who scored twice), and Hailey Hull also contributed to the scoreline, pushing the team to a commanding 4-0 lead by halftime. Lorelei Lewis notably scored an unassisted goal early on and added another in the second half, underscoring her significant impact on the field.

Despite the Royals' effort to narrow the gap with two goals in the second half, the Skyhawks' early advantage ensured their win. Seline Flores and Lisa Kelm shared responsibilities as goalies, maintaining the lead and demonstrating solid defensive plays. Key assists came from Isabella Frullaney, who was instrumental in setting up several of the goals.

Looking ahead, the Skyhawks are set to face LaGrange College on September 3, 2025, in West Point, Ga. As they prepare for their next game, the team aims to continue their strong start to the season and carry forward their momentum.
