Battle of I-85 ends in a draw for Women's Soccer
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Oct. 24, 2024)- The Point University women's soccer team returned to the pitch for a road Southern States Athletic Conference contest against Faulkner University for a post-season berth on the line, where the contest ended in a 1-1 draw.
Throughout the first half, both opponents traded multiple shots. The second half began with Isabella Frullaney scoring the match's first goal with an assist from Lorelei Lewis. After multiple chances at a goal, Faulkner tied the match with seven minutes to go, ending the match with a final score of 1-1.

Faulkner had eight shots and four shots on goal, compared to Point, who had 18 shots and seven on goal. Lisa Kelm, on goal, made three saves. Isabella Frullaney made one goal with an assist from Lorelei Lewis.
