
Women’s Soccer drops road matchup to #6 Life University
MARIETTA, Ga. (Oct. 21, 2024)—The Point University Women's Soccer team returned to the pitch for a Southern States Athletic Conference match under the lights against Life University. The Skyhawks fell to the Running Eagles with a final score of 7-0.
The Running Eagles opened the first half with four early goals through the first 13 minutes. Point looked to match the fast start from Life with Isabella Frullaney taking the single shot for the Skyhawks in the first half. Life held the Skyhawks scoreless through the first half and went into halftime with a 4-0 lead. The Running Eagles brought their momentum into the second half with two early goals to increase their lead by six. Point's offense would not be able to get much going as they were held to zero shots in the half. Life added one final goal to end the match with a final score of 7-0.

Life outshot the Skyhawks with 31 total shots and 18 on goal compared to Point's one shot. Isabella Frullaney took the single on goal for Point. In goal, Lisa Kelm added nine saves. Jaynee Malcolm also made an appearance as a goalie with two saves.
