Women’s Soccer drops home match to Life on Senior Day
WEST POINT, Ga. (Oct. 28, 2023) - The Point University Women's Soccer returned to the pitch for the season finale for a Southern States Athletic Conference matchup against Life University which also served as Senior Day as the Skyhawks fell to Life 8-0.
The first half began with the Running Eagles spotting an early 1-0 lead in the first nine minutes. This rhythm continued as Life added their second goal for the early 2-0 lead. The half continued with Life adding their offense against Point as the Running Eagles added two more goals into the half leading 4-0.
The second half continued to be in the hands of Life as Point's offense could not match the intensity of the Running Eagles. Life would tack on four more goals in the second half which increased the lead to 8-0. The Skyhawks would not be able to take a shot on goal as the Running Eagles took the win in a shutout.

Khlari South made the start at Goalkeeper where she added two saves. Kelly Rowland also made an appearance in goal and added four saves.
