Women’s Soccer falls to NCAA Division II, Spring Hill on the road

MOBILE, Ala. (Sept. 10, 20223) - The Point University Women's soccer team traveled to Mobile, Alabama, for a non-conference match against NCAA Division II, Spring Hill College, where the Skyhawks fell to the Badgers 11-0.

Spring Hill started the matchup by getting their offense going, as the Badgers scored their first three goals in the first six minutes. Point looked to get their offense going but would be unable to move past the pressure of Spring Hill. The Badgers continued to extend their lead in the first half as Spring Hill took on three more scores to lead 6-0 to go into halftime.

The Skyhawks looked to take on the second-half comeback by bringing their energy against the Badgers. Spring Hill's offensive attack continued to go in their favor, with the Badgers adding another goal to begin the half. Three more goals followed as Spring Hill finished the game with a shutout. Point's offense looked to try to rally through the matchup, and with the test of taking on Spring Hill, this could help give the Skyhawks the best look throughout their campaign.
