LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (Oct. 11, 2022) - The Point University women's soccer team took a trip to Lawrenceville, Ga. Tuesday night to square off against Georgia Gwinnett College in a nonconference matchup and fell 3-0.

The Grizzlies came into the matchup with their sights set on controlling the game with quick attacks, which started successfully for them as they scored a goal in the first 16 minutes of the match. Two minutes later, Georgia Gwinnett added to their lead by scoring their second goal of the game to push their lead to 2-0. As the first period neared the half, Tamia Jones took a shot for Point to try to get the Skyhawks on the board, but the Grizzlies made the save to now go into halftime scoreless.
