Women’s Golf places fourth at the TWU Fall Invitational

VONORE, Tenn. (Oct. 2, 2024) - The Point University Women's Golf team returned to the course to compete in the Tennessee Wesleyan University Fall Invitational at the Links at Kahite Golf Course in Vonore, Tennessee where the Skyhawks added a fourth-place finish out of six teams. 

Tournament Notes 

  • Tennessee Wesleyan University served as the host school for the event. 

  • The Skyhawks finished with a score of 644 and shot rounds of 324 and 320. 

  • Full Standings: 1. University of Pikeville 2. University of the Cumberlands 3. Berry College 4. Point University 5. Tennessee Wesleyan University 6. Maryville (Tenn.)

Sydney Ormsby: 5th|+3| Rounds: 73, 76

Up Next 

The Women's Golf Team will return to the Tennessee course to participate in the Freed-Hardeman Invitational beginning on Monday, October 14th and wrapping up on Tuesday, October 15th.
