Women’s Golf prevails for a 2nd Place Finish at the TWU Spring Invitational

NIOTA, Tenn. (Apr. 9, 2024) - The Point University Women's Golf Team returned to the course for the TWU Spring Invitational hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan University where the Skyhawks added a second-place finish in their last regular season tournament. 

Tournament Notes 

  • The tournament was held at the Springbrook Golf Club in Niota, Tennessee.  

  • Point finished with a tournament score of 660 and shot rounds of 333 and 327. 

  • Point had two Golfers with Top-Two finishes. (Fredrika Zetterblom and Sydney Ormsby)

The Skyhawks will return to the course on Monday, April 15th for the SSAC Championships hosted at the RTJ in Greenville, Alabama, and will wrap up on Wednesday, April 17th.
