Women’s Golf places sixth at the BMCU Spring Classic

Results

WEST POINT, Miss. (Mar. 26, 2024)- The Point University Women's Golf team returned to action for the Blue Mountain Christian Classic hosted by Blue Mountain Christian University where the Skyhawks placed sixth out of 14 teams. The tournament was cut short due to overnight storms. 

Tournament Notes 

  • The tournament was held at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi. 

  • Point finished with a tournament score of 648 and shot rounds of 321 and 327. 

  • The course was par 72 and 5,883 yards. 

  • Point had two Golfers with Top-10 finishes. (Sydney Ormsby and Fredrika Zetterblom)
