Women’s Golf places sixth at the Firehawk Invitational

ATHENS, Ala. (Sept. 19, 2023) - The Point University Women's Golf team returned to the course to compete in the Firehawk Invitational at the Canebrake Club in Athens, Alabama, where the Skyhawks finished in sixth place. 

 Tournament Notes 

  • The Tournament was held at the Canebrake Club in Athens, Alabama, and was par 71. 

  • Point finished with a team score of 635 through both rounds. In Round Two, the Skyhawks tied a school record by shooting a round of 306 to par. 

  • Junior Fredrika Zetterblom tied a school record for a single round as she finished round two with a score of 69.
