
Skyhawks Suffer Narrow Defeat in Conference Clash Against Running Eagles
WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 8th, 2025) - In a gripping conference showdown at Point's home turf, the Point University Skyhawks faced a challenging defeat against Life University, finishing 69-59.
Both teams traded baskets throughout the first half, adding to an intense game with a tight score. The Skyhawks, despite lightly trailing at halftime, with a score of 31-28, put up a valiant effort in the second half but couldn't overcome the deficit. Despite the loss, Point showed significant resilience and determination throughout the game.

Zaria Johnson led the charge for the Skyhawks, delivering an impressive performance with a double-double adding 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Antonia Pittman also provided substantial support, scoring 17 points alongside 3 rebounds, one assist, and 2 steals.
