Point University Women's Basketball Falls to Loyola in Conference Clash

NEW ORLEANS, La.( Jan. 16, 2025)- The Point University Women's basketball team faced off against Southern States Athletic Conference foe the Loyola University Wolfpack, resulting in a 70-55 victory for the Wolfpack at New Orleans.

 

The Skyhawks went into halftime trailing by eight points, with the scoreboard reading 36-28 in favor of Loyola. Despite spirited efforts in the second half, Point University couldn't bridge the gap, eventually falling by a 15-point margin. The final score 70-55.

The Skyhawks were led by Jada Williams with 22 points, three steals and two rebounds. Zaria Johnson added with 18 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.
