
Point University Skyhawks Fall to Middle Georgia State in Conference Clash
WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 21st, 2025) – In a challenging conference game, the Point University Skyhawks faced a tough defeat against Middle Georgia State with a final score of 11-3 in the first game and 9-6 in the second game. Despite the loss, the Skyhawks displayed commendable performance with contributions from various team members.
Game One (11-3, Loss)
The match-up took place on their home turf, where Point University players Taylor Gajdik, Isabella Owens, and Kaila Phillips made significant efforts by scoring runs to keep the team competitive. Taylor Gajdik and Savanna Bryant were noted for their RBI's, pushing the Skyhawks' offense even in difficult moments. Starting pitcher Chloe Mitcham took the mound for Point, giving her best against a strong Knights' lineup.

The Skyhawks fell short against the Knights with a final score of 9-6 in the second match. The game saw the Skyhawks initially take a promising lead but ultimately succumb to a powerful comeback by the Knights.
