Point Lacrosse Falls to Life University

WEST POINT, Ga. (April 9th, 2025) - In a pivotal conference lacrosse clash, the Point Skyhawks were unable to maintain their halftime lead, eventually succumbing to a strong comeback from the Life Running Eagles with a final score of 15-8. 
 
The Skyhawks initially showed strong form to lead 6-3 at halftime. However, the visiting Running Eagles mounted a significant second-half rally to claim victory on Point's turf. Despite the loss, several Skyhawks players showcased impressive performances. Thomas Van Alstine led the scoring efforts with four goals, complemented by Rodney Oakley's two goals and an assist. Additional contributions came from Shaun McLaughlin and Aaron Mordarski, who each netted one goal, with McLaughlin also providing an assist. 
 
The defensive effort saw Aaron Robinson in the crucial role of goalie for the Skyhawks, facing a challenging opponent that managed to overturn the halftime advantage.

Thomas Van Alstine led with 4 goals, Rodney Oakley added 2 goals with one assist, Aaron Mordarski and Shaun McLaughlin both added one goal. Aaron Robinson, as goalie, had 13 saves.
