
Point University Skyhawks Secure Key Victory Over Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs
WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 15th, 2025) - In an exhilarating conference game, the Point University Skyhawks bested the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs 8-6 on the lacrosse field. This win highlighted the effective strategies employed by the Skyhawks and was another showcase of their promising season.
From the onset of the game, the Skyhawks displayed a robust defense coupled with a targeted offense, concluding the first half with a 4-2 lead. The intensity continued into the second half, culminating in an 8-6 victory. Thomas Van Alstine and Rodney Oakley were stars of the day, as their scoring proved indispensable. Van Alstine shined exceptionally with four goals, earning him additional recognition in the game. Rodney Oakley not only contributed with two critical goals, including the game-winning goal but also provided an assist that significantly impacted the match's outcome.
