MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Feb. 8th, 2025) - In a high-stakes regular season lacrosse clash, the Point University Skyhawks outplayed the Huntingdon College Hawks, securing a 13-9 victory. The intense battle saw the Skyhawks rally at half-time with a score leading 8-6 before ultimately claiming the win.
Malyke Sillers and Thomas Van Alstine were the standout players for Point University, jointly netting all thirteen goals of their team. Sillers contributed six goals, while Van Alstine not only matched with seven goals but also scored the decisive game-winning goal. Their athletic prowess was supported by Van Alstine's additional assist and another from Rodney Oakley. Goalie Aaron Robinson played a crucial role, safeguarding the Skyhawks' net throughout the heated contest.
