Point University Skyhawks Face Setback in SSAC Clash with Loyola University Wolfpack

NEW ORLEANS, La.(Jan. 16, 2025) - The Point University Men's basketball team faced a tough loss in a Southern States Athletics Conference against the Loyola University New Orleans Wolfpack, with a final score of 85-64 favoring the Wolfpack.

 

The game, which took place in New Orleans, saw the Skyhawks struggle to close the gap after a significant halftime deficit of 40-21. The Skyhawks attempted to claw back and shave down the lead in the second half by scoring 43 points but the Wolfpack just kept the steam on from the first half ending the game with a final score, 85-64.

Mike Evans led the Skyhawks with 14 points, four rebounds, three assist, and two blocks. Vince Graves added with 10 points and seven assist. Jeremiah Smith also contributed to the scoring column with 13 points.
