Bio

My name is Shaka T. Long, a Montgomery, Alabama native, I'm bringing a deep passion for leadership and competition to my new role as Head Flag Football Coach at Point University. I have over four years of coaching experience at the high school and travel team levels. I developed hard-working teams and fostered a culture of accountability and growth.

Coach Long has also contributed to the sport through involvement in multiple flag football camps and showcases, helping to develop young talent and grow the game. I also have a background in television production with ESPN, and have a degree in video production — a unique blend of sports and media.
