
Women’s Flag Football Soars over Reinhardt Eagles
WEST POINT, Ga. (March 22, 2025) - The Point University Women's Flag Football Team competed against Reinhardt University in a Sun Conference matchup where the Skyhawks led victorious with a final score of 6-0.
This intense defensive battle saw both teams fight tooth and nail, but it was the strong defense and a single crucial touchdown by the Skyhawks that made the difference. The game's only score came from Tisciana Poole, who maneuvered a 1-yard rush into the end zone during the second quarter, setting the pace for the game. The passing game also showed significant resilience with Corriah Williams completing 17 of 34 passes for 136 yards, while Kenzie Phillian's performance included 8 receptions covering 51 yards, further complementing her defensive prowess with 1 deflection and 2 interceptions totaling 13 yards.
On the defensive end, the Skyhawks were led by Kenydi Robinson, who notably pulled 5 flags and intercepted the ball for an 11-yard return. The defensive unit contributed decisively to holding the Eagles scoreless throughout both halves, reflecting a well-prepared team strategy and execution.
