Women's Flag Football Falls to Florida Gateway

WEST POINT, Ga. (March 17, 2025) - The Point University Women's Flag Football Team returned to the field to face Florida Gateway College in a non-conference game. The Skyhawks fell to the Wolves with a final score of 44-0.  

The Skyhawks took the field on defense first where Klaudia Taylor managed to get 4 flag pulls and a deflection in the first quarter however, the defense was not strong enough for the Wolves who scored 26 points in the first half. Continuing to the third quarter, Kenzie Phillian intercepted and handed off the ball to D'Zeriyah Polite with the Wolves hot on their back, but their defense stopped her rush short. The Skyhawks were unable to slow the tempo of the Wolves as they continued making three more touchdowns in the fourth quarter making the final score 44-0.  

In the Box: 

Amara Davila went 6-for-13 with 35 passing yards and added 4 rushes for 30 yards. Chinera Shaheed led with 3 receptions for 24 yards. Klaudia Taylor led defensively with 6 flag pulls and 2 deflections.
