It’s Not Superman; It’s Caleb Wade soaring into an AAC Defensive Player of the Week Honor

WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 4, 2024) - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Player of the Week where Caleb Wade was announced the AAC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the win against the University of Pikeville. 

Caleb Wade has made his presence known for the Skyhawk defense. He finished with eight tackles, one for loss, and one interception. The interception that Caleb Wade caught was not ordinary and was one of the most athletic plays you will ever see. Wade is a player who does not talk much but his impact on the field runs deep as he can step into the box or cover the entire field. Caleb Wade has already made a name for himself with already being an AAC First Team All-Conference Player in 2023 and can now add being a defensive player of the Week to his resume. This is his first weekly honor.
