Point University Welcomes Shaka Long as Head Women's Flag Football Coach

Point University has made a new addition to their athletic department in hiring Shaka Long as the new Head Coach for the Women's Flag Football team. The announcement comes as the Skyhawks look to bolster their program and bring a new level of expertise and passion to the sport. 
 
Shaka Long arrives at Point University with an impressive background that spans over four years of coaching at the high school and travel team levels. His coaching style, which emphasizes accountability, growth, and hard work, has been praised for its effectiveness and positive impact on athletes. Alongside his coaching career, Long has also been active in the community, contributing to the development of young talent through various flag football camps and showcases. 
 
Previously, Long also worked in television production with prominent sports network ESPN and holds a degree in video production. His unique blend of media and sports experience is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the program at Point University. 
 
Expressing his enthusiasm about the new role, Coach Long stated, "I'm honored and excited to take on the Head Flag Football coach role at Point University.
