Jadakate Judkins earns SSAC Volleyball Defender of the Week

WEST POINT, Ga. (Oct. 9, 2023) - The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the winners for volleyball Players of the Week on Monday, October 9th, where Jadakate Judkins won SSAC Defender of the Week. 

The Junior from Henry County, Georgia, helped the Skyhawks go 1-1 over the weekend, totaling nine blocks between both contests. Judkins averaged 1.5 blocks per set, including an eight-block performance in the 3-0 sweep over UT Southern, where she had 2.67 Blocks per set. Jadakate Judkins' eight-block performance tied the record for most assisted blocks in a single game with eight. Judkins' big weekend also moves her to #10 in total blocks in Point Volleyball history with 69. Jadkate Judkins has become a key contributor on the court who can flip the switch at any moment to give opponents issues. With her pace, Judkins could move her name into the record books more in her career. This is the first weekly honor for Jadakate Judkins.
