Teagan Jose earns AAC Women's Swimmer of the Week honors

WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 21, 2022) - The Appalachian Athletic Conference has announced Teagan Jose as the AAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week on Monday, Nov. 21, for the week ending Nov. 19. 

The freshman out of Johannesburg, South Africa placed second in the 200 breaststroke on Day 3 of the Georgia Small College Championships with a time of 2:28.40. Jose has made a name for herself in the record books in her early collegiate career as she recently broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.97. Jose has also broken the school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.81. 

This is the first weekly honor of the season and in her career.
